Organised a shoot with Ejun recently and was blown away by the experience. His ability to direct his subject to produce consistently workable and flattering studio shots regardless of how awkward the subject is worth the price of entry alone. He’s also one of the few photographers I know who work with Leica cameras professionally and I think that makes a difference; it gives the photographs character unique from the usual Canon and Nikon outcomes which makes for a nice change. Pre-shoot, the administrative part was pleasant and fuss-free. Chatting with Jessica to register my interest was a breeze. There is also a guide given to prepare for the shoot. It includes attire recommendations and was extremely helpful.

The studio was comfortable and private, I was completely at ease in the space. Before the actual shoot, I did my makeup with Cherry. The makeup session with Cherry was really fun, we chatted the whole time and before I knew it, the makeup was done. I loved the end result - like myself but a subtly enhanced version. Cherry is a pro at bringing out your best features. I am glad I had the chance to work with her for this shoot. :)

I wasn't very used to being photographed, and I found Ejun's prompts very easy to follow. He was extremely patient, kind, and sincere. I genuinely think that Ejun makes the utmost effort to make the space and experience comfortable; as a result, I was very relaxed and we got some wonderful photos.

Ejun has a genuine connection with his clients. The whole session flew by because of the great conversations we had. Throughout the whole session, I felt safe and relaxed, like talking to a friend whom I've not met for a long time. I think this quality is what sets Ejun apart from other portrait photographers. Also, Ejun has an incredible eye for lighting and composition. More importantly though, Ejun is able to see your natural personality and showcase it through the photos.

The process for selecting photos was fun and interesting. And slightly challenging due to the number of great photos that Ejun took. Ejun shares readily what he thinks are the standout photos and I really appreciated the insights. It took some time to get through all the raw photos and Ejun was just the most patient person ever. When I got the photos, I was genuinely blown away by the quality of the portraits. The photos are like pieces of art; the film-like quality is really beautiful. The mood of the photos was what I had hoped for. What I was really happy with was how Ejun captured the different faces of my personality. It is not simply about looking good; I thought it was more about letting your personality - your spirit - shine through via a two-dimensional medium.

Ejun is an artist in every sense of the word. I am truly very, very happy with the photos. These are beautiful and meaningful portraits that I will treasure for a long time. It's not just a 'photoshoot'. With Ejun, it's an exquisite experience. I was particularly impressed by Ejun's impeccable attention to detail. One of the best photography sessions I ever had! From the onset, the studio exudes a calming and warm ambience to allow clients to feel relax and ease. Ejun is extremely professional and yet has a big and warm personality, with the ability to make his client feels comfortable. The entire experience was phenomenal, he took time to explain the entire process and how I should “pose” for the camera for the best outcome. He has the ability and skill to capture the right angle/profile, thus bringing out the best in me! Despite the session took close to 5 hours including make-up and styling, I must say the entire experience was fun and was never a dull moment!

It was my first time attempting to get my studio shots done and I am glad I got someone like Ejun as my photographer. When I decided to get a photoshoot done for my family and some professional shots for myself and my wife, I was told to check out Ejun’s profile and it didn’t take long for me to decide to go with him.
